HR Solutions is searching for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. Our company provides an integrated and cost-effective approach to the Human Resources related functions to various companies across a diverse industry portfolio.This position will be responsible for assisting clients with day-to-day Human Resources projects and tasks including, but not limited to the following key responsibilities:Work directly with our clients in developing & executing customized HR programsCoordinate onboarding of new hires and pre-employment screening processSupport in recruiting efforts which may include resume reviewing and phone screensSupport clients with administrative tasks such as background requests, drug screenings, completion of HR-related correspondenceLeave administration such as FMLA, ADA, and MaternityKnowledge of employment laws and complianceHandle unemployment claims, up to participation in unemployment hearingsWorks closely with the HR director and HR team on administrative tasks for clientsFocused job analysis and compensation studiesInvestigations and complaintsEmployee disciplinary actions, performance plans, and terminationsKey Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Psychology or related field.2-3 years of HR ExperienceSHRM or HRCI professional certification, preferredAbility to multi-task in a high-paced environmentMust be detail-oriented and organizedExcellent communication skills with the confidence to speak in front of groups, to business owners, members of management and employeesAbout HR Solutions:Our client base includes a wide range of small to midsize companies in the Louisiana area and surrounding region.
