What we're looking for in a Route Driver

To thrive in the role of Route Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you need a skill set as diverse as the routes you'll travel. A valid Commercial Driver's License is a must, ensuring you're equipped to navigate the roads with ease. Your knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques will be put to the test daily.

Strong communication skills are key for interacting with customers professionally, while organizational skills are essential for completing paperwork accurately. Basic math skills will come in handy for invoicing tasks, ensuring smooth transactions with customers. With a focus on safety and efficiency, your commitment to excellence and problem-solving abilities will drive you towards success in this dynamic and customer-centric role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License.
  • Satisfactory completion of Motor Vehicle Check required according to the Vehicle Safety Policy.
  • Requires satisfactory completion of DOT medical evaluations.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
  • Requires written and organization skills to complete paperwork in a decipherable manner.
  • Requires strong communication skills.
  • Requires basic math skills for invoicing.
