Purpose for hiring We are looking for an Electronics Assembly and Test Technicians to support our production efforts from our facility located at the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana. Responsibilities/duties Assembly of PCBs for state-of-the-art military applications Visual inspection of circuit card assemblies Encapsulation of electronic components Operate automated test systems Record production and test data Adherence to ESD and handling protocols General assembly functions Required Qualifications/skills Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident Must be competent using common tools Detail oriented Able to follow process/design documentation Ability to be self-directed Good time management and communication skills Able to sit or stand for long durations Preferred Experience Familiar with electronics laboratory equipment Soldering Electrical component encapsulation Familiar with J-STD-001 Familiar with IPC-A-610 Why work at Vetronix Research?
