Shift / Call 8 Hour Shift – First
Misc. Details Require dedicated Microbiologist to push through antimicrobial testing updates that are delayed as deliverable to clinical staff. Experience with Vitek 2 AES is preferred.
. It would be a Monday-Friday position with flexibility in start time and shift length
I would indicate to applicants that the start time would be based on the project need (median range of start 0 EST). If weekends are needed for one of the projects, and they are not able to utilize the staff already there to run the samples (as they are time sensitive), then they would have to come in to perform those duties, however, it would be the exception and not the norm.

• Certification by one of the following mechanisms is required: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), M(ASCP), or SM(ASCP).
• BS or BA with a minimum of 10 years technical experience in a Clinical Microbiology laboratory is required. May review applicants with PhD in Clinical Microbiology without certification, based on experience.
