As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Latam Payments Technology team, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain regional applications for the Payments line of business. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to innovative technological solutions and collaborating with a diverse team. Job responsibilities Develop new features and maintain existing ones for regional applications. Participate in projects and provide production support. Solve technical problems and propose effective solutions. Write secure, high-quality code; review and debug code written by others. Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS and Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency. Contribute to a team culture that values diversity, opportunity, and respect. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Formal training or certification on Software Engineer concepts and proficient applied experience. Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Spring Framework, Oracle database, Linux OS, REST APIs, and automated testing. Experience creating and maintaining global financial systems with low tolerance for failures, high performance, resilience, and security. Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services. Cloud experience on AWS (including serverless components) and Kubernetes. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform. Proficiency in programming languages. Experience working in development teams using agile methodologies. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and proactiveness. Fluent in English.
