Senior Technical Specialist & Training CoordinatorShort DescriptionThe Senior Technical Support Specialist-Training Coordinator manages inbound phone calls and e-mails from customers, representatives and consulting engineers and is the subject matter expert on Pulsar Measurement products. In addition, the Senior Technical Support Specialist-Training Coordinator will initiate calls to customers to ask about technical issues with respect to orders, installations, and product concerns.The individual will support the sales team with virtual and onsite training sessions for representatives and customers on a wide range of Pulsar products and assist with webinars and tradeshows. The ability to speak and write well are of utmost importance for this position as the individual will be a liaison between engineering, quality and product management. TASi Measurement’s high repeat customer rate is due to an ability to remain close to our customers reinforced by providing local service and complete engineered solutions and problem solving.Join us on this exciting journey, as we continue to expand our business.Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Developing and maintaining strong technical and applications expertise with all Pulsar products.· Maintaining expertise with Pulsar’s technical support systems, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, Quality Databases, and Engineering Change Notifications (ECN).· Handling technical support calls and troubleshooting on new and existing product installations.· Track and analyse technical concerns and able to escalate to the engineering and product management teams as needed.· Able to read and comprehend engineering specifications.· Perform onsite and virtual training sessions.· Support the Regional Sales Managers and Sales Application Engineers with advanced technical expertise and training sessions for high profile projects.· Able to work cooperatively and provide feedback to the Product Management Team, Engineering, Quality, and Marketing with respect to the development of technical documentation, product improvements, and new product ideas.· Participates in corporate training seminars, webinars, and tradeshows.· Performing any other duties or responsibilities as requested by Supervisor or Manager.Position Requirements:· Excellent written and spoken communication skills· Strong track record developing and maintaining positive relationships with service customers and sales partners.· Inherent electrical instrumentation knowledge and experience.· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as current MRP, ERP and CRM systems· Has excellent problem solving and time management skills· Exceeds attendance standards.· Bachelor’s degree (engineering, business, technical) and/ or 5+ years minimum technical experience.Preferred Qualifications:· Past technical experience with corporate technical trainings· Awareness of Communication Protocol (SCADA, MODBUS, Profibus)· Collaborates well within a teamwork environment· Knowledge of industrial and municipal (water/waste-water) instrumentation is a plus· Degree in Electrical Engineering or Environmental EngineeringComputer Skills:· Experience working with ECN and Quality Management programsTravel:· Travel is based on demand when conditions allow.Travel includes but is not limited to regions, factories, offices, customer locations and suppliers.Ability to uphold Pulsar Measurement’s mission and vision.
