Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Saint Charles, Missouri.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $41 - $43 an hour
- 2024-2025 School Year
- Hours per week: Full-time Monday-Friday
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: November 2024
- Location: In-person
- Details: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year from August through November with a 5th and 6th grade caseload. IEP writing will not be required for this assignment and another SLP will be available to assist in the school. Will also consider SLP-CF candidates and part-time candidates. School bell times are 8:05am-3:05pm.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Missouri SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
