Together, we’ll help organizations reimagine what’s possible—and ensure AI serves as a catalyst for meaningful progress. This position will report directly into our Country Lead for the Data & AI Capability. Position is eligible to be in any location where there is a Slalom office.What You’ll DoDevelop and hire a team of highly experienced AI leaders, capable of leading Slalom’s most complex AI engagements. This individual drives the continued development and adoption of Slalom’s Delivery Excellence program, ensuring high-quality AI delivery across all Slalom engagements and disciplines.Partner closely with Market leadership and other Capabilities on AI project execution.Capability Vision & Strategy (10%)Drive and connect AI strategy across the America’s markets and other Capabilities.Set vision for Slalom’s Delivery Excellence program, working closely with Market and other Capability leads to provide guidance and support adoption.Go to Market Approach (20%)Create demand for oneself and team by proactively seeking out speaking opportunities as AI SME and providing thought leadership at external conferences and events to generate net-new opportunities.Work to proactively ignite awareness and generate demand for AI Capability and related client outcomes in North America. Participate in Campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs to ignite specific opportunities.Business Development & Sales (15%)Participate in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions with GTM team.Individually act as a Solution Lead or SME in pursuit process, identifying appropriate SME(s) from broader capability team as needed.Resource Pipeline (15%)Participate in AI-specific rhythm of business for hiring, staffing, workforce planning; participate in planning process for dedicated AI Capability pool.People Development (20%)Support the development of AI team members to successfully lead Slalom’s most complex AI engagements.Act as mentor and guide to other AI practitioners to ensure a high level of AI delivery quality across Slalom.Participate in performance management via providing feedback on AI Capability team members.Delivery Management (10%)Collaborate closely with market and other capability leaders to implement robust governance practices, ensuring complex AI programs are set up for success.Improve outcomes through project turnaround and mitigation strategies to achieve AI delivery success for our clients and for Slalom.Contribute to AI delivery via billable roles as AI Solution Lead and/or in SME roles within AI sub-capability, with specific utilization target defined by Level.Financial Management (10%)Work with broader Data & AI leadership to create the AI sub-capability specific growth and cost projections.Work to achieve forecast against revenue, including escalation of dedicated team members for staffing.What You’ll BringInspirational Leadership - Demonstrates forward-looking strategic and critical thinking, connection to Slalom’s AI needs.Proactive GTM Mentality - Builds relationships and opportunities to proactively build pipeline; does not wait for sales/client partners to create leads.Grow Slalom Mindset - Champions high-quality AI delivery as a source of continued account and revenue growth for Slalom.Collaboration - Has strong ability to collaborate across different teams and organization.AdditionalAbility to travel up to 30-40% of the time. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position at the Managing Director level the base salary pay range in the US is $240,000 to $384,000 USD. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
