Role Summary Job Title: Java/Node.js Developer Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Java/Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, proficiency in Java and Node.js, and a solid understanding of modern software architecture and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (Express/NestJS). API Development: Build and integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications. Database Management: Work with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Performance Optimization: Ensure application scalability, security, and performance tuning. Cloud & Deployment: Deploy applications on AWS/Azure/GCP and manage CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve technical issues across environments. Required Skills Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js. Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, Express.js, NestJS. Databases: MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab. Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins. Testing: Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mocha/Chai). Other: Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns. Preferred Qualifications Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Exposure to front-end technologies (React/Angular) is a plus. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
