Senior Staff Electrical Engineer – High Speed Digital Design Our client are ruthlessly focused on business impact as they develop automation and robotics solutions to truly enhance the industry they work in. As the Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer you will be developing mission‑critical electrical systems for unmanned platforms. They are looking for engineers who have a passion for building and shipping reliable hardware. You will build from the ground up and work on solving problems that nobody else has tackled, with a real opportunity to scale. The team is composed of former pioneers from a variety of robotics industries and has a clear mission to create technologies that support and augment human networks. You will have the opportunity to make an impact from day 1 in a collaborative environment alongside the very best in the industry. You will own the full lifecycle of electrical hardware from concept, schematic capture, layout review, through bring‑up, validation, and production handoff. You will work on the compute and main carrier board in the aircraft and must have experience in complex high‑speed signal design projects, handling both schematic and layout. The ideal industry background will be in robotics or other areas where there are computers / computer carrier boards. Bachelor's and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 6+ years of hands‑on electrical hardware development. Proven track record of shipping production‑grade electronics for real‑world systems. Strong hands‑on experience with board bring‑up, testing, and debugging. Fluent with tools like Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or equivalent. Any experience in working on unmanned or electric vehicles, firmware development in C/C++ and embedded system integration, working on functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262) systems, and experience with high‑reliability systems and testing to industry standards (MIL‑STD, DO‑160, etc.) would be highly preferred.
