Package Consultant

CTG is seeking to fill a Package Consultant - SAP HANA SCM PP position for our client in Detroit, MI. Duration: 7 months Travel Required: 50% Duties: Lead the MTD value stream, managing 20+ resources across client and IBM teams. Develop, manage, and oversee build and test plans, ensuring successful execution. Manage sub-stream leads under the MTD value stream, including EWM, Production Planning & Execution, and MES (client-controlled but integrated with our scope). Facilitate client conversations to drive decisions, redirect with conviction and evidence when needed, and provide prescriptive/best practices advice. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP S/4HANA solutions meet business requirements. Provide leadership in high-volume, high-variation manufacturing environments, especially in make-to-order or engineer-to-order processes. Skills: Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, with hands‑on experience in Production Execution, Production Planning, and Scheduling. Demonstrated ability to lead a value stream and manage multiple resources effectively. Experience with EWM, MES, and integration points across SCM modules. Soft skills: ability to manage strong personalities, lead client conversations, and provide guidance without being an order‑taker. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Experience: Extensive SAP functional experience leading MTD streams in manufacturing environments. Preferred experience in complex discrete manufacturing with high volume and high variation processes. Proven track record of leading multi‑resource projects and achieving business objectives. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred. Relevant SAP certifications a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
