Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped (GDC-ag) is a fully managed experience for organizations requiring complete isolation to meet stringent sovereignty and regulatory requirements. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to delivery of the google private cloud product, by ensuring GDC-ag development and release workflows have healthy environments that mimic production closely through automation and tooling. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Write product or system development code. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Ensure the stability, performance, and high‑availability of all virtual environments to support continuous development and testing. Partner with Engineering teams to understand their requirements and continuously evolve our environment offerings with new configurations and capabilities focused on achieving feature uniformity with physical lab environments.
