*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to healthcare professionals in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and physician offices.

* Minimum two years’ experience required as Certified Medical Assistant.
* Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience including rooming patients.
* Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN.
* BLS _– must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY _

*Shift Information:*40 hrs/week, Days, 8 hr shifts, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm depending on clinic needs. No weekends, no holidays.

*Responsibilities*
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic medical tasks such as vital signs measurement and specimen collection
- Maintain patient records and input data into electronic health record systems
- Coordinate patient appointments and assist with patient check-in and discharge processes
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort and confidentiality
- Support medical administrative functions including scheduling, billing, and insurance verification

*Experience*
- Prior experience in a medical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care principles
- Familiarity with outpatient procedures, emergency medicine, OR, PICU, and Level II Trauma Center operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and medical administrative support systems

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour
