QUALIFICATIONS Masters or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as engineering, computer science, data analytics, Information Technology, Mathematics & statistics or related fields (a combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics and data sciences Experience building models and extracting data insights in sales, delivery, finance and service domains; solving problems in forecasting, predictive modeling, NLP churn prediction Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as Scikit‑learn, NumPy, etc. Familiarity with ML Ops tools/platforms Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes Proficiency in one or more visualization tools such as Tableau Experience engineering information out of massive, complex and occasionally unstructured datasets Ability to apply strong business sense with technical skills to balance complexity and speed of project delivery Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate at all organizational levels Ability to self‑start and self‑direct work in an unstructured environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity Excellent problem‑framing, problem‑solving and project‑management skills and ability to change direction quickly Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a related field Preferred certifications: SnowPro Core Certification Azure Certified Data Scientist: Fundamental Level AWS Cloud Practitioner Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences Certified Data Professional Data Scientist Council of America: Data Scientist Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Experience working within a cloud‑based environment (SaaS) Experience with Git and version control workflows Proficient in performance tuning and debugging Travel: Up to 10% domestic and international travel Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $91,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay. As a Data Scientist, you will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary team of solution architects and data engineers on a wide range of business. You will be an integral part of the IT Advanced Analytics group responsible for building out capabilities across business strategy, analytics, and Cloud.
