Job Summary:

An Electrician I under general/minimal supervision- performs a wide variety of skilled, journey-level duties in the installation, modification, design, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery used in Trillium Farms daily operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.
May need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Required
Trade School desired
Not required but a plus if you have Electrician degree or certification from an accredited or technical college
Motivated self-starter who can manage projects, people and make decisions.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer and report writing skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
Good time-management skills.
Strong ability to communicate effectively and well with all levels of employees and management
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work.
Ability to work weekends and holiday hours is required.
