Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is the first hospital on the West Coast to achieve dual accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Continence Care for Women, recognized by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) and the National Association for Continence (NAFC) for providing the highest quality of care and patient safety.Full-time or Part-time in Newport Beach, CASchedule: Flexible to shifts in a combination of 12-hour weekday night shifts and 24-hour weekend shifts.As an OB Laborist, you will be part of our growing team in the Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology and be responsible for providing consistent care to patients in the inpatient hospital setting on weekends and weekday nights, as well as emergent care to patients arriving in Labor and Delivery. You will evaluate and deliver obstetrical patients, assist with C-sections and other surgeries, while conducting rounds on hospitalized, antepartum, and post-operative patients that are part of the Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology.Requirements:Must have an active and unrestricted California State Medical License.Board-eligible, American Board Certified in OB/GYN.Experience as an OB Laborist/OB Hospitalist is preferred.Must be interested in participating in clinical education for other medical staff, establishing care protocols for labor and delivery programs, and working on research projects as needed.A passion for providing excellent clinical care and excellent communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative/team-oriented environment are a must.Proficient in EMR Systems (EPIC) is preferred.Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive Compensation PackageBase guaranteed salary (Based on number of shifts performed per year)Full Medical Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Time off, Sick time)401K Retirement Plan with matching contributionsMalpractice coverage providedCME providedHoliday PremiumsPhysician Lounge and Showers available in hospitalContact:steven.yi@hoag.orgSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionHealth Care ProviderIndustriesHospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
