In our practice we have six family medicine providers, nine resident providers, and offer additional on sight resources for patients such as a clinical pharmacist, care manager, social worker and population health nurse. Our clinic offers a welcoming environment that thrives on strong collaboration to coordinate and optimize care for our patients.
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician. Documents care provided via computer/written patient record in a manner consistent with guidelines.
Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required
- MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
