Maintenance Technician II

The Maintenance Technician II will provide support services to the assigned facilities with regard to maintaining the plant, equipment, offices, residential areas and grounds of multiple facilities in order to provide a safe and operational environment.

This is a Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule will be Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain and repair facilities while meeting and maintaining compliance with the local building and fire codes
Enter data into computerized work order management system
Work with minimal supervision and with multiple types of tools to complete assigned tasks
Assist with small projects that are completed by in-house staff
Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK

Regular exposure to electrical hazards
Exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials
Operating vehicles or machinery

High School/GED preferred

At least three (3) years maintenance, carpentry or similar skilled trade experience preferred
Skilled in at least one (1) trade preferred
Working knowledge and understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance methods and procedures preferred
Working knowledge of regulatory standards as well as safety and equipment requirements preferred
Working knowledge and ability to conduct general building and repair practices and methods preferred
A valid driver's license at the time of hire required
