Title: Project Engineer
Location: East Windsor
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible hours based on projects)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview: As a Project Engineer at our leading specialty chemical company, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, qualification, and automation of facilities, equipment, and utility systems. You will ensure compliance with regulatory demands, industry guidelines, and internal procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate cGMP and HSE requirements into early design phases and engineering solutions.
Contribute to design reviews to ensure compliance with cGMP and technical standards.
Execute construction, assembly, commissioning, and qualification of engineering projects.
Develop installation plans and oversee project progress to ensure timely completion.
Manage project resources and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Implement technical solutions for unexpected challenges without compromising project objectives.
Report deviations promptly and make timely decisions to address issues.
Coordinate commissioning and qualification activities with various departments.
Lead external contractors as necessary and ensure optimal use of resources.
Prepare and review commissioning and qualification documentation.
Conduct deviation investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in audits conducted by clients and health authorities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Previous experience in project engineering or a similar role.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
International logistics operations experience is a plus.
