Job Summary The Senior Director leads the Global Medical Information function, ensuring accurate, unbiased, and compliant responses to unsolicited medical inquiries while maintaining scientific and medical integrity across all content. Responsibilities Oversee the Medical Information function and Contact Center, ensuring proper training and compliance. Lead and cultivate a strong global team. Manage medical inquiry insights reporting and visualize trends/metrics. Oversee writing, quality, review, approval, and maintenance of response documents. Coordinate coverage at company‑sponsored medical information booths at conferences. Improve processes and driving efficiency through emerging technologies such as Generative AI. Support product launch, lifecycle, and pipeline activities in collaboration with cross‑functional partners. Maintain knowledge of FDA, EMEA, and other regulatory guidance and ensure compliance of Medical Information responses. Train the team on balanced scientific accuracy for promotional and medical materials. Analyze and summarize medical literature for clinically relevant insights. Demonstrate influence across stakeholders and support decision‑making with a broader perspective. Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry guidelines. Supervisory Responsibilities Direct the Medical Information Contact Center vendor. Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical presentation. Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration abilities. Analytical and problem‑solving skills with strategic thinking. Adaptability in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Scientific understanding of medical evidence and patient treatment journey. Proficient in Microsoft Office and technologically savvy. PharmD, PhD, MD, PA, or NP with significant industry or medical information experience preferred. 10+ years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical environment with at least 7 years in Medical Information. Other Information Ability to sit or stand for multiple hours at a computer. Manual dexterity for keyboarding with occasional repetitive movements.
