Founder/Clinical Director @ Stoked On Life Palm Beach nonprofit We are a mission-driven organization committed to leveraging the healing power of the ocean to foster growth, resilience, and connection. Opportunity Stoked on Life seeks an experienced, visionary, and results-oriented Executive Director (ED) to provide comprehensive strategic and operational leadership. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will be the chief spokesperson and strategic visionary responsible for ensuring the organization's financial sustainability, clinical integrity (in partnership with the Clinical Director), and overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for our unique therapeutic mission, possess dynamic leadership skills, and have a proven track record of securing resources and managing complex non‑profit operations. Key Areas of Responsibility Mission Alignment: Develop and implement a clear, compelling vision and multi‑year strategic plan in collaboration with the Board, ensuring all programs align with mission. Organizational Culture: Provide inspiring leadership to staff and volunteers, cultivating a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing culture. Industry Stewardship: Stay informed of trends in aquatic/surf therapy and collaborate with external organizations. Financial Sustainability: Serve as the chief fundraiser, ensuring long‑term financial health. Strategy & Execution: Design and execute comprehensive, diversified fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals. Donor Relations: Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners. Budgeting & Planning: Work with the Board to develop, manage, and monitor the annual operating budget. Fiscal Integrity: Implement sound financial practices, accurate record‑keeping, and compliance. Risk Management: Monitor performance and enforce fiscal responsibility. Clinical Partnership: Partner with Clinical Director to oversee program development and research. Research & Data: Facilitate research partnerships to expand evidence base. Operational Management: Handle administrative tasks, payroll, scheduling, permits, insurance, etc. Staff Management: Recruit, hire, supervise, and mentor staff. Spokesperson & Advocacy: Represent mission to community, media, and government. Board Relations: Liaison between staff and Board, preparing materials and supporting governance. Qualifications Proven Leadership: Minimum 3-5 years of senior leadership in non‑profit, ideally health, therapy, or youth development. Fundraising Track Record: Demonstrated history of securing significant, diversified funding. Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of non‑profit financial management, budgeting, and reporting. Mission Alignment: Deep passion for Stoked on Life mission and aquatic/surf programming. Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
