  • Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate recreation programs for school age children, adults, seniors and special populations
  • Recruit and train part time program staff and volunteers
  • Line/paint a variety of sports fields
  • Experience with Access, Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Provide supervision for part time staff and volunteers
  • Assign and monitor duties of site coordinators and supervisors
  • Develop standards, procedures, and regulations for recreational programs
  • Develop training models for various program areas
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and vehicle
  • Budget management of programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Assist in seeking additional funding through grant writing and special projects with available resources
  • Develop and maintain cooperative, collaborative working relationships with other agencies in the county
  • Perform administrative and supervisory functions required in operation of total program
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director

The position requires excellent time management skills. The individual must have the ability to multitask and process instructions efficiently.
