The hardware includes robotics, gas valves, temperature controllers and other hardware. Come join our team and have the opportunity to:Develop Advance software for cutting edge techSee your work have real results by driving the most advanced HW in the SEMI industryWork with a global team full of talented Software EngineersBe part to the team that leads the next generation of SEMI manufacture control Software technology and trendsTravel globally and visit major chip makers FAB sitesWork in Phoenix, the heart of the next SEMI tech hubResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software for our semiconductor manufacturing equipmentDeveloping for Windows and Real-time Operating SystemsCollaborate to establish software strategies and drive software innovationTroubleshoot and resolve computer software issues, including real-time software control systemsAble to triage mechanical, electrical and software bugsResponsible to manage escalation calls with field support engineers and customers at a national and global levelWork with QA / Support team to add replicated bugs to regressionAuthor, revise, and review system specifications, software designs, test plans, and other software documentation.Investigate both internal and external inquiries, questions and problem reports. Offer problem analysis, solutions, or alternatives as a result of these investigations.Evaluate software engineering tools.Participate in system design teams.Develop schedules for software development effortsProvide engineering solutions to resolve all software issuesEvaluating new software and hardware tools for possible department useMinimum QualificationsStrong software development skills in one or more general purpose programming languages: C++, C#5+ years’ experience as a generalist or mid-stack software development.Preferred QualificationsEducational background in Computer Science10+ years’ in software development and software architecture.Experience working with multiple items listed belowSoftware for Machine Control (including Semiconductor equipment)Developing for Windows and Real-time Operating SystemsMulti-threaded applicationsReal-time softwareGraphical User InterfacesDevice drivers or other interrupt driven softwareData Communications, Networking and EtherCATComplex dynamic scheduling algorithms with deadlocks avoidanceKnowledge of programming tools such as text editors, debuggers, application builders and configuration management tools.Ability to read code and understand the functionality implemented and the ability to translate the functionality into another piece of softwareComprehend software documentation including specification and design documents, communication interface specific and API descriptionApply Today To Be Part Of What’s Next.We make the tech that enables the chips in devices which improve lives around the world.
