The Transitions of Care Pharmacy Technician at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca will assist the pharmacist with medication reconciliation tasks by interviewing patients, obtaining and updating the medication history, and documenting it in the electronic medication record. All duties are performed independently by the technician under the supervision of a pharmacist. The technician will work rotating shifts—days/evenings and rotating weekends. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the California State Board of Pharmacy license. Adequate background in pharmacy or pharmacy training, including the capability to interpret physicians’ orders and calculate dosages and compounding quantities. Demonstrated accuracy, punctuality, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and customer‑service orientation. Proficiency in basic calculations involving ratios, proportions, and percentages. Experience with outpatient medication management preferred. Training will be provided. Job Requirements Competency with equipment such as calculators, computers, printers, medication carts, and automated dispensing machines. What Else Are We Looking For?
