Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity – Northwell Health, Westchester, NY Northwell Health Orthopedics and Pediatric Service Line seeks a board-eligible/board-certified (BE/BC), fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team. This role is based at Northern Westchester Hospital, with rotations at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide top-tier orthopedic care for children and young adults. As part of New York State’s largest health system, you’ll contribute to innovative treatments, education, and research in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Job Description In this role, you’ll be an integral part of Northwell Health’s extensive network of world‑class orthopedic resources, recognized nationally and internationally for excellence in patient care, education, and research. Our expert clinicians work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, pain specialists, neurologists, nurses, and technicians, to ensure the highest levels of care, safety, and precision in pediatric orthopedic surgery. The Pediatric Service Line features 10 board‑certified, fellowship‑trained orthopedic surgeons specializing in treating orthopedic and spine conditions in children and young adults. At Northern Westchester Hospital, you’ll deliver quality, patient‑centered care using leading‑edge technology in a compassionate environment close to home. The hospital boasts over 750 skilled physicians and professional caregivers, with internal quality measures exceeding standards set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Hospital Quality Alliance (HQA). Rotations at Cohen Children’s Medical Center—the region’s largest pediatric teaching hospital and New York metropolitan area’s only hospital designed exclusively for children—will involve serving over 1.8 million children across Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. As the tertiary pediatric medical center of Northwell Health and Long Island’s only Level‑1 Pediatric Trauma Center, it handles over 750,000 visits annually. Ranked among the top children’s hospitals in New York State by U.S. News & World Report’s 2022‑2023 Best Children’s Hospitals, it excels in specialties like nephrology, urology, pulmonology, and lung surgery, with national rankings in eight areas. Requirements Board‑eligible or board‑certified (BE/BC) in Orthopedic Surgery. Fellowship‑trained in Pediatric Orthopedics.
