Role: Blockchain Developer with Rust Programming

Location: Charlotte, NC/NYC, NY

Day 1 Hybrid Onsite


As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance blockchain protocols and applications. You will work within a dynamic team to create decentralized applications (DApps), contribute to open-source projects, and push the boundaries of what's possible with blockchain technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Rust code for blockchain development.
  • Develop blockchain solutions and protocols using the Cosmos SDK.
  • Implement and maintain features in blockchain-based projects.
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient smart contracts.
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to identify and solve blockchain challenges.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and Rust programming.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design decisions for blockchain systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with strong proficiency in Rust programming.
  • Extensive experience with blockchain technology and a deep understanding of the Cosmos SDK.
  • Experience in developing blockchain protocols, smart contracts, consensus algorithms, and DApps.
  • Strong understanding of cryptography, including asymmetric (pub/priv key), symmetric, hash functions, and encryption/signatures.
  • Familiarity with peer-to-peer networks.
  • Knowledge of coding languages including C++, Java, and Python is a plus.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience with Tendermint Core.
  • Knowledge of additional blockchain platforms and technologies.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and cloud services.
  • Understanding of financial markets and FinTech.
