Primary Responsibilities:
It all flows through you. As the Transportation Clerk, you will take orders from request to reality, in an environment where you’ll feel and create a culture of safety and family. You will support the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes performing administrative tasks such as; maintaining documents, directing incoming calls, providing reports, and supporting a variety of other functions to ensure that the transportation is providing Core-Mark customers with exceptional service and quality.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Supports the Transportation Department during the day by completing but not limited to the following tasks:
  • Print, correct, and review wave sheets and route invoices.
  • Audit and reconcile fuel and credit card purchases.
  • Collect and complete daily driver remittances.
  • Prepare route envelopes and wave sheets for the afternoon and evening dispatch.
  • Compile weekly/monthly reports as requested by transportation management.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of basic computer software and Omni Tracks.
  • Skill in operating various office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine, calculator (10-Key), and phone system.
  • Ability to communicate with department managers, co-workers, business contacts, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to be task oriented and focused on goal achievement.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to check and correct own work.
