Physician - Hematology Oncologist - Baptist MD Anderson - Downtown

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Northeast Florida seeks an experienced Benign Hematologist to join our distinguished cancer medicine faculty.

What You Will Do:
  • This physician supports our growing benign hematology program and cellular therapy program.
  • Commit to our multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care.
  • Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and educational missions of our program including developing standard protocols for patient care, improving quality metrics, and creating scholarly work.
What You Will Need:
  • Have a 3+ years experience in benign hematology.
    • Additional experience in cellular therapy and CAR-T therapy is a plus but not essential.
  • Graduating fellows may be considered if they have demonstrated a serious commitment to the care of the hematology patient.
  • MD/ DO
  • Board-certified or board eligibility.

  • Leadership opportunities within the hematology program, division, quality or research program will be made available for the ideal candidate.
  • Commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care including participation in quality management and research programs sufficient to earn an academic appointment at MD Anderson in Houston.
  • Establish and maintain an active clinical practice and develop areas of productive scholarship.
