We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Revenue Management Software Engineering team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives. The Software we build and maintain supports the CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANK’s Securities Services Pricing and Billing Operations teams. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with stakeholders to stay focused on our common goals. You’ll work in a collaborative, trusting environment that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally.Job Responsibilities Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectAbility to work in large, collaborative and geographically distributed teams to achieve organizational goals.Required Qualifications, Capabilities & SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityStrong technical knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft .NET/.NET Core framework and C# coding.Hands on practical experience of working with InvestCloud’s Advantage Fee Billing software.Experience in working with Advantage Fee API’s.Prior experience building interfaces and custom applications to augment and interact with Advantage Fee.Hands on experience in developing and supporting Billing and Invoicing software in a .Net environment. Prior experience building and maintaining custom schedulers in Java and .Net.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExposure to AWS and Terraform
