Academic Nephropathologist Join the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to support our Nephropathology program with a new faculty member. The position is a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable-track role at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The UNC Nephropathology laboratory provides technical services for all medical renal cases at UNC Medical Center, other UNC Health entities, and beyond. Opportunities exist for research, scholarship, teaching in the School of Medicine and the Graduate School, and participation in the UNC Kidney Center and NIH-funded consortia. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements MD or comparable degree Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology Fellowship training and/or service experience in Nephropathology Eligibility to obtain a medical license in North Carolina Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Interest in minor clinical service work in other surgical pathology sub-specialties is considered.
