Job Captain at Alpha Base Pay Range: $110,000 – $120,000 per year Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Job Captain to join our design team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the production of project submissions, including design development and construction documents. The Job Captain will work closely with the Project Architect, Project Manager, and Senior Designer on both design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee production of project submissions, including design development and construction documents. Collaborate with Project Architect, Project Manager, and Senior Designer on design and technical aspects. Provide technical assistance and quality control reviews for the production team. Prepare construction documents and assist with construction administration. Maintain organized project files and documentation. Attend project meetings and contribute to project planning and problem solving. Apply engineering technology, construction methods, and code regulations to project design. Incorporate sustainable and LEED principles where applicable. Utilize software including AutoCAD, Revit, graphic design tools, and MS Office applications. Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in commercial or mixed-use architectural and/or interior projects. Experience in all phases of architectural design and planning. Ability to solve complex design and technical problems effectively. Knowledge of sustainable/LEED products and processes is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Education & Licensing Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution. Architectural license is not required but preferred, or working toward licensure within 3 years. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project priorities. Effective collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
