Requirements:

  • ARRT Advanced Certification
  • ARRT CT Certification
  • Outpatient, IV Starts, iSTAT, EPIC preferred

Technologist will work solo the majority of the shift and will perform both CT scans and X-rays. They should have excellent independent work skills. Technologist will perform standard CTs, CTAs, and X-Rays, including portable X-Rays. No fluoroscopy/c-arm work is required. Almost all patients for this shift are from the ER. Our campus does not have an ICU, but does have a med/surg floor. There are rarely inpatients.
Daily Caseload: 14 - 20 CT /XRays per 12 Hr ShiftPatient Age Group - Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults Geriatrics
Skills Required:Adult Outpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, Level II Trauma, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Trauma head, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, thoracic.
Skills Preferred:Outpatient, IV Starts, iSTAT, EPIC
Equipment/Scanner Experience Preferred:Siemens, Phillips, Fuji DR Portable, Philips DR X-Ray, Siemens Def Edg CT, Panorex
Certifications:BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Cert, WA State License, ARRT CT Certification
Any color scrubs
