OverviewAs a REC (Renewable Energy Credit) Environmental Products Analyst II in Houston office, you will report to the Director of REC Trading and Portfolio Management and provide scheduling, market analysis, trading and portfolio management support to EEMNA (ENGIE Energy Management North America) REC desk.ResponsibilitiesTrade flow support for EEMNA REC trading and operationsPortfolio management for EEMNA REC portfolioNorth America REC market analysisBackup REC trading and execution for Senior TradersWhat You’ll Bring / QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in which you completed courses in engineering, business, finance, mathematics, or a related disciplineMinimum of two (2) years of exposure to trading operations and a minimum of one (1) year in mid office supportExcellent analytical skills; ability to research complex business problems and identify opportunities to design, develop, and propose actionable solutions in support of portfolio management and trading analysis activitiesSupport the development and enhancement of models and system platforms related to portfolio management and trading activitiesAbility to collaborate with internal function groups, such as Legal, Trade Control and Settlements to ensure an accurate representation of trades and positionsAnalyze supply and demand fundamentals of REC and energy marketsProblem solving with strong analytical and statistical skillset; ability to convey complex technical analysis to a broader audience including senior leadershipAbility to work autonomously, be flexible, and meet tight deadlines in stressful situations with multiple assignmentsStrong attendance and effective communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in relevant IT tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, SQL, PowerBI)Additional DetailsThis role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; 4 days in the officeMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensationSalary Range: $61,400 – $94,070 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
