The Cook County Health and Hospitals System is looking for a highly skilled Medical Director Anesthesia to lead our Anesthesiology team. As a General Anesthesiologist, you will oversee patient care, resident training, and daily administrative duties within the Anesthesiology Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate anesthesia care for patients, ensuring compliance with national standards.
- Provide medical direction to Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Develop and implement program planning, objectives, policies, and standards essential to delivering quality anesthetic care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical college or university.
- Licensed as a physician in the State of Illinois or ability to obtain license prior to starting employment.
- Successfully completed Anesthesiology Residency training.
- Board certified or Board eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiologists.
