CNC Programming:

Analyze available information including part prints, manufacturing operation sheets, and part models for the creation and modification of CNC programs for various 2, 3, 4, and 5-axis machine tools.
Handle multiple CNC program projects and work cross-functionally with production, product development, and other departments across the organization. Write new programs and modify existing programs to improve processes.
Collaborate closely with product development and design teams to translate product specifications into machine-readable code.

CAD/CAM:
Demonstrate proficiency in SolidWorks/Solid Edge/SolidCAM to create and modify design files and generate CNC programs.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and product development to ensure integration between design software and CNC programming tools.

Qualifications:

Proficient in drafting/modeling software
Solid Edge/Solid Works/SolidCAM experience preferred
S. or A.A. degree in manufacturing or engineering discipline or comparable experience preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Demonstrated experience with 3-axis CNC or Robotics (5 and 6-axis preferred)
Working understanding of G-Code
Ability to read schematics/blueprints
Comfortable speaking and presenting information in groups of up to 10 people
Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
ERP experience a plus (specifically D365)
