*Job Summary:*

The HVAC/R Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training and education to students in the HVAC/R program. This role involves teaching theory and hands-on skills, evaluating student performance, and ensuring that all curriculum standards are met.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Curriculum Delivery:*
* Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on training sessions on HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
* *Student Support and Evaluation:*
* Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
* Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
* Offer constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
* *Lab and Equipment Management:*
* Maintain and oversee the use of laboratory equipment and tools, ensuring they are and remain in good working condition.
* Ensure a safe and organized learning environment in compliance with safety regulations.
* *Professional Development:*
* Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and advancements in HVAC/R technology.
* Attend professional development workshops and training sessions as required.
* *Administrative Duties:*
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
* Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum planning, and other institutional activities.

*Qualifications:*
* *Education:*
* A diploma in a formal HVAC/R training program of at least 600 clock hours is a real plus.
* EPA 608 certification is a minimum.
* *Experience:*
* Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the HVAC/R industry.
* Previous teaching or training experience preferred but not required.
* *Skills:*
* Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including strong HVAC/R electrical knowledge, diagnosis, and repair.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
* Proficient in using instructional technology and software.

* Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
