We’re building a high-performance, portable compiler that lets developers “build once, deploy anywhere.” This role focuses on leading a compiler team to enable cross-platform efficiency, with a focus on scalable, sustainable AI tooling.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTechnical leadership of a team of 3 - 6 engineersMentoring of junior and senior engineers alikeThought leadership on compiler design — responsible for design of major components and interfacesMaintain and elaborate on design documentation and specificationsCreate training content and technical onboarding processes for new hiresQualifications8+ years of experience working on compilers or runtimes3+ years of experience as a tech lead or team lead (manager)Proficient in C++Proficient with Git and GitHubFamiliar with agile methodologies like SCRUM or KANBANAdditional Technical RequirementsProficient in Python 3Familiar with PyTorchFamiliar with OS fundamentalsFamiliar with MLIRBasic knowledge of computer architectureCompensation & BenefitsSalary depends on experience and geographical location.
