Overview

The South Bend Clinic is recruiting for dynamic and energetic BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join our highly reputable physician-led multi-specialty group. Whether you're currently practicing or a new grad, you will have the ability to control & develop your own practice in an autonomous setting.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Joining a well-established dept of Internal Medicine physicians
  • Multiple office location opportunities
  • In-office procedural capabilities plus full lab, imaging and other diagnostics
  • Shared call with one of three different call panels in the department
  • Large specialty consultation base with allergy, bariatrics, cardiology, dermatology, ENT, general surgery, GI, OBGYN, oncology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, PMR, podiatry, ortho, radiology, rheumatology, urology
  • Teaching opportunities with two family medicine residencies & IU School of Medicine
  • Administrative support including marketing & insurance contracting to promote practice
  • 150+ quality driven provider group governed by physician elected Clinical Governance Board
  • Joining the largest multi-specialty group in Indiana

South Bend is a medium sized city, with many excellent schools and great neighborhoods. In addition, we are 90 minutes from downtown Chicago and less than an hour from the Lake Michigan shoreline. We are home of the University of Notre Dame, Indiana University of South Bend, plus St. Mary's College, Holy Cross College and Bethel University. About the Clinic:

The South Bend Clinic was founded in 1916 by surgeon Walter Baker after he visited the Mayo Clinic, now one of the most renowned medical institutions in the world. Dr. Baker returned to South Bend with the inspiration to create a similar practice and formed the South Bend Clinic with the help of several physicians. Founded on the idea that healthcare should be patient-centered and physician-led, our clinic strives to provide advanced yet personalized healthcare.

In 2021, the Clinic joined Duly Health and Care based in Chicago, Illinois—the Midwest's largest independent, multi-specialty physician-led medical group. The shared philosophy and close partnership will further SBC's mission to deliver patient-centered care, increase investments in local services, and create initiatives to help Michiana residents live healthier, happier lives.
