Hospital Pharmacy Career Opportunity

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a skilled Pediatric Pharmacist to fill a Clinical Staff Pharmacist position in our dynamic hospital setting. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver Pharmaceutical Care: Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to patients, including evaluating and managing medication regimens, and monitoring patient outcomes.
  2. Serve as a Clinical Resource: Develop and deliver evidence-based clinical recommendations to healthcare team members, and participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds.
  3. Ensure Compliance: Evaluate and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  4. Optimize Department Performance: Manage inventory control and optimize department financial performance.

Qualifications:
  • PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Virginia State Board of Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure within 90 days)
  • ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
