Sr. Practice Manager - Medicine Highland Hospital of Rochester, NY Job Description Highland Hospital is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead multiple outpatient departments including Geriatrics and Medicine Associates (GAMA), Pulmonary, Audiology, Diabetes Health Source (DHS), and Geriatrics. Responsibilities Oversee the administrative and business operations of multiple outpatient departments within the Department of Medicine, including Geriatrics, GAMA, Pulmonary, Audiology, and DHS. Perform routine and non‑routine duties requiring highly advanced administrative skills and proficiency. Work collaboratively with department leadership, providers and clinical and clerical office personnel to promote achievement of goals and objectives and continuously improve operations. Provide leadership and guidance to office personnel and administrative direction to clinical staff. Train and evaluate office personnel and manage the administrative functions of all staff. Maintain direct oversight of billing operations. Coordinate services and equipment necessary to enhance day‑to‑day clinic operations. Train and educate staff on daily functions of the system computer programs for all staff. Monitor and report monthly budget variances to the Sr. Director and provide capital and operating budget input for annual budget development. Salary Range $59,529.60 - $80,350.40 annually The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries and hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations. Experience: 4–6 years relevant experience in a physician practice setting involving oversight of clerical, administrative, and billing processes. Skills: Demonstrated high‑level leadership, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
