Job Title: SCOM / SCCM / Automation admin

Work Location: Seatle, WA (3 days Onsite)

24/7 Shift



Job Description

We are looking for a Onsite(Seattle) skilled Windows Server Patching Specialist experienced in using WSUS and SCCM for automating and managing server updates.



This role involves ensuring the timely deployment of patches to maintain the security, performance, and compliance of Windows server environments.



Must Have Skils :

• Onshore engineer to assist in some of the foundational/operations activity of both ServiceNow and Splunk (both NERC and Non NERC):

• Patching/Upgrades of OS and Applications (mostly on the NERC side)

• Certificate Management (renewing, creating, removing)

• Password management

• ServiceNow Dashboards, SQL Query, Splunk patching

• Some On Call support (although we typically don’t have many MI’s or other P1/P2 issues that are time sensitive)

• DR planning and execution of Tests

• Potential to be a SCOM / SCCM / Automation admin

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, test, and deploy Windows server patches using WSUS and SCCM.

• Monitor patching schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful patch deployment.

• Ensure compliance with security standards by applying critical updates promptly.

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to manage patching strategies and minimize downtime.

• Maintain detailed documentation of patch management processes and reports.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with WSUS and SCCM for patch management.

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and security practices.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting patch-related issues.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Hybrid 2 days, 16x5 Support, On Call P1/P2
