We are currently looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic HVAC technician to assist with troubleshooting various heating and air conditioning systems. You will need to be able to troubleshoot, repair, replace and maintain both residential and commercial equipment. A solid understanding of HVAC physics, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems is required. In this position you should be able to understand and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. Working as an HVAC technician requires physical labor, as you’ll be on your feet most of the day. You should have good oral, written and visual communication skills, as you’ll need to cooperate with other team members to resolve issues. You will use various tools and equipment to ensure that our clients are kept comfortable in their own homes. Ultimately, the goal is to guarantee our customers receive quality services from people who care about their well being.

Responsibilities:
* Apply technical knowledge to install, diagnose and maintain basic HVAC systems.
* Perform preventative maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipment such as furnaces, boilers and chillers.
* Install heating and cooling equipment; perform ductwork installation, maintenance, cleaning and repair.
* Evaluate mechanical performance of equipment.
* Perform heat load calculations in order to determine proper HVAC system size.
* Estimate the cost to operate HVAC systems.
* Identify HVAC malfunctions, repair them and replace parts if necessary.
