Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform extensive travel throughout North America for on-site repairs and diagnoses
  • Travel to customer locations to diagnose technical problems and perform on-site repairs
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair/rebuild mechanical and electrical systems using professional communication skills and mechanical knowledge
  • Analyze and troubleshoot problems using schematics, drawings, and block diagrams
  • Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with customers and colleagues
  • Diagnose technical problems via telephone if possible, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in mechanics with basic electrical abilities
  • 2-5 years of experience as a field service technician is highly preferred
  • PLC, industrial automation, machine tool, or CNC programming experience is considered an asset
  • Skilled in mechanical (dial indicators, micrometers, calipers) and electrical measurement (voltmeter)
  • Current valid drivers' license required due to extensive local travel
