Job Description:
Stop Loss Sales Director
Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.
The Stop Loss Sales Director is responsible for developing strategies which lead to the account retention and new business within stop loss.
How you will make an impact:
- Coordinates the growth, retention, and profit strategy across the stop loss business.
- Achieves bundled and stand alone stop loss revenue, product, key performance indices, and service levels.
- Manages the broker program and meets with key producers regularly to align goals.
- Owns and oversees the internal workflow with local and national sales teams to deliver optimal growth and revenue.
- Partners with leadership in local group and national businesses to develop strategies.
- Establishes key relationships with internal stakeholders to develop action plans based on objectives, review performance to plan, and develop mitigation strategy.
- Performs market opportunity analyses to identify new market opportunities and evaluate ongoing competitive conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 8 years experience in stop loss industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Sales life and health license required in state(s) or territory selling.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Strategic planning and sales experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with stop loss products preferred.
- Ability to travel preferred.
Salary Range: For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary range for this specific position is $126,616 to $239,904.
Locations: California; Colorado; District of Columbia (Washington, DC), Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada; New York; Washington State.
