The work hours for this on-site position are M-F, 8:30a – 4p. Our benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k with company match and PTO.

Responsibilities:
Perform basic accounting functions, including:
Preparing and managing budgets by tracking expenses, ensuring adherence to financial plans, and identifying variances.
Generating invoices, ensuring timely billing, and reconciling any discrepancies with clients or vendors.
Creating and processing purchase orders, verifying details, and maintaining accurate records.
Preparing financial position reports, including balance sheets and income statements, to reflect the organization’s current and projected financial status.
Demonstrate proficiency in various financial and accounting software applications, ensuring efficient data entry, reporting, and analysis across multiple platforms.
Execute professional accounting tasks in compliance with established procedures and regulatory standards, such as:
Reviewing and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy.
Monitoring compliance with tax regulations, including sales tax and VAT (if applicable).
Assisting with audit preparation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Analyze and interpret financial statements to provide accurate and actionable insights to leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Supervise and provide guidance to clerical accounting staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
Serve as a representative for the accounting lead or supervisor in their absence, addressing immediate financial or operational concerns.
Stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and implement improvements where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, or 4 years of related experience.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, theories, and practices.
Familiarity with standard office practices and accounting procedures.
Ability to prepare detailed and accurate accounting reports.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
