Position Summary 2Prod Technologies Corp. is seeking a Cloud Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate brings strong DevSecOps experience with hands‑on skills in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines. You will design, build, and secure cloud environments that enable scalable, reliable, and secure business applications supporting federal missions. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible. Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources. Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with security and compliance integrated. Implement secure, automated delivery of infrastructure and applications. Integrate automated security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines. Apply best practices in cloud security, IAM, network design, and data protection. Collaborate with security teams to embed guardrails and ensure regulatory compliance. Perform ongoing vulnerability assessments and remediation in AWS/GCP environments. Partner with application teams, SREs, and platform engineers to ensure reliability and scalability. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and implement long‑term fixes. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Minimum Qualifications AWS expertise across compute, networking, IAM, storage, and monitoring. Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for IaC and automation. Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, runners, and security integrations. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including container security, secrets management, compliance automation, and vulnerability scanning. Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK. Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, cloud security controls, and zero‑trust principles. Active Secret Clearance required. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Architect. Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration. Knowledge of multi‑cloud and hybrid cloud integration. Familiarity with policy‑as‑code frameworks such as OPA or Sentinel. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
