Account Executive at Masis Professional Group A growing CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax planning, compliance, and review for a portfolio of individual and business clients. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and play a strategic part in firm operations. Responsibilities Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients across a variety of industries. Oversee staff assignments, workflow, and project timelines to ensure timely and accurate filing. Research tax issues and implement strategies that maximize savings while ensuring compliance. Maintain and grow client relationships through responsive communication and value‑added advisory. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax staff and senior associates. Stay up to date with evolving tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and internal teams. Support firm growth through business development, client retention, and operational process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Taxation preferred. CPA required. 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role. Strong technical knowledge of tax law and compliance standards. Proficiency with tax software such as UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar platforms. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
