Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CSICU/RICU (Russell ICU)
Shift: Nights / shift starts 6:45p, 12x3, 36 hrs/week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 years in Cardiac ICU
- Cardiac experience
- BCLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Care of immediate post op cardiac surgery experience preferred
- Charting System: Cerner
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: AMI, AVR, MVR, resp failure, renal failure, IABP, CRRT, Empella, therapeutic hypothermia. Chest tube insertion, intubation, and emergency sternotomies are common procedures
- Dysrhythmia exam (basic) is required
- Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
- Ratios 1:1 - 2. IABP is not 1:1
- RICU (Medical ICU)/CSICI - will float between the two units
- First to Float
