Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Network Engineer to lead the installation, configuration, and monitoring of Unix/Linux-based systems and networks. Base Pay Range $95,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Salary Range - $95,000 - $125,000 a year Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux operating systems and open?source technologies. Monitor system and network performance, ensuring high availability and optimal operation. Troubleshoot and resolve user?reported issues and system anomalies. Manage change requests and implement system updates and patches. Design and implement automation strategies for system deployment and configuration management. Collaborate with cross?functional teams to support infrastructure needs and improve system efficiency. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration and network engineering. Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu). Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef). Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls). Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus). Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Preferred Skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong analytical and problem?solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
