About the Role
The Revenue Management Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and assessing sailing performance and revenue metrics to determine appropriate pricing and inventory actions needed to maximize ticket revenue growth and total occupancy. This involves generating opportunities to monitor and evaluate market trends to understand the value of Carnival Cruise Lines' products from a consumer's perspective, ensuring accurate alignment of pricing programs, placement, and availability within each market segment.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement pricing and inventory strategies for assigned CCL product portfolios to drive net ticket revenue.
- Analyze the impact on booking demand due to changes in the competitive landscape, including ship deployment, pricing, and strategy.
- Establish tactical methodologies to optimize revenue and total occupancy at the market level and various booking channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Sailing Support, and Reservations, to ensure optimal pricing and inventory controls are adhered to.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Revenue Management or a similar analytical role is required.
Key Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
